YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION PARTY: Will be next Monday, May 7th in the student center. Seniors may pick up books beginning 7th hour (IF you have this hour off), and all other classes can pick up at 2:18. You must have a PHOTO ID to pick up your yearbook - no exceptions! You must have your FINES PAID to pick up your yearbook-no exceptions! If you are unable to make the party, you may pick up your yearbook Tuesday (8th) or Wednesday (9th) before school and after school in room 113 or 4-6th outside of the senior pit. If you are unable to attend these dates and times, you will have to see the bookkeeper after Wednesday. If you have not purchased a book, you may do so through the bookkeeper’s office starting next Monday after school. They are $75 and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
SUMMER CHECK-IN PACKETS for the 2012-13 School Year will be distributed to current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students in Advisory on Monday, May 7. Students, please be sure to attend Advisory on the 7th and pick up these important packets.
SENIORS: Fees and fines are due tomorrow, Tuesday, May 1. You will not be able to pick up your yearbook your cap and gown until all fines/fees are paid.
SENIORS: Graduation Surveys/Exit Interview: Don’t forget to stop into Post Grad to complete your 5 minute graduation survey. Volunteers are available to help you 2nd through 7th periods Monday through Thursday and 2nd through 5th periods on Fridays. Please bring in copies of any and all scholarships you were offered. Come in and tell us all about your Post Graduate plans be it college, the military or going off to work.
LIBRARY FINES DONATED TO MAD WEEK: Pay your library Fines in the Library by May 3rd and they will be donated to MAD Week. If everyone paid their fines we will have raised $1500.00!
DODGEBALL FORMS WITH PAYMENT ARE DUE TODAY! The Dodgeball Tourney will begin at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, May 1. Teams can come early to warm-up at 5:15 p.m. If you need an emergency extension on getting the forms in, please see Coach Byleveld. Good luck to all teams and make sure you play the part and look the part!
PLANT SALE: Thursday, May 3 and May 4, located in the greenhouse (above 3rd floor – use stairwell by main gym). Plants are $2.00 each and proceeds support the Plant Biology class. We are selling tomatoes, basil, peppers, dill, geraniums, coleus, pansies, and much, much more!
THE HHS THEATRE COMPANY PRESENTS THEIR LAST SHOW OF THE YEAR, Happy Daze, on Thursday May 3rd at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The show is free! So don't miss out. The show follows the exploits of JT Springer, a kid who just doesn't fit in. JT is fed up with being laughed at so he decides to create an imaginary world based on 1950s television shows where he can be the coolest kid in town. Finally JT gets so fed up that he decides to move there. In the end, JT learns a valuable lesson about life and about himself.

PROJECT YOU! 2013: Connections, College, Careers and Citizenship. This summer, back by popular demand, the Counseling Department/Post Grad Center will be offering an opportunity for Seniors (Class of 2013) to get a jump start on the college application process. Activities will include writing the college essay, researching programs/majors, scholarships, financial aid and community service projects. This four day workshop will be offered on August 6-9 with two sessions to choose from, either 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Space is limited on a first come/first served basis. Students will need to register by May 18, 2012 in the Post Grad Center through their Naviance account. There will be a parent information meeting on Thursday, May 24 at 6:00pm in the 2nd floor lecture hall. VOLLEYBALL MEETING: Wednesday May 2 at 2:30 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Lecture Hall - important for all girls interested in volleyball next year to attend, information for summer programs and tryouts for next year.
