SENIORS: The Kiwanis Club of Columbine Foundation is offering a $500 Community Service Award. You must be a graduating senior who has displayed exceptional dedication to service in the school, community or world by example or leadership. No minimum GPA required, but must submit an essay, list of activities, and letter(s) of recommendation. Please go to the Post Grad Center to pick up an application.
SENIORS: There will be a senior meeting during Advisory Monday, February 27. Please report to Advisory first.
*Herff Jones will be here to distribute graduation announcements Monday, March 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Student Center and from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Main Entrance during Parent/Teacher conferences.
Reminder: students will not be excused from class to pick up announcements.
SENIORS: If you are interested in speaking or singing at your graduation ceremony, be sure to pick up an information sheet from Ms. Ficklin in the Main Office. Auditions will be held Wednesday, April 4, 6:30 a.m. in the Theater and participants will meet in the Main Office.
MAD Week is Coming, and Community Relations Need Donations for its Silent Auction!
During MAD Week in April, Community Relations will be hosting a Silent Auction as part of its week-long activities to raise $15,000 to build another classroom for our sister school in Sierra Leone. Donation items can be gift cards, theme baskets, artwork, tickets to sporting events, services or anything else people would like to donate to the MAD Week cause. If students, parents or community members have something they would like to donate, please contact a Community Relations member or one of the faculty sponsors, Ms. Heidi Dudley athdudley@lps.k12.co.us, Ms. Allison Smith at ajsmith@lps.k12.co.us or Ms. Andrea Rudolph at arudolph@lps.k12.co.us. SPRING ONE ACT AUDITIONS are this week! Information and sign up is on the board outside the theatre. There are a ton of parts and we need tons of actors to fill them, most people who audition will be cast. See Miss O. if you have any questions.
