UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN COLORADO APPLICATION DAY: An Admissions Rep will be at Heritage on Thursday, November 17 from 7:30 – 10:15 a.m. The representative will give an on-the-spot admissions decision, but you must review the admissions requirements on-line at www.unco.edu/admissions, or speak with your counselor. Your index score MUST be an 84 or higher to qualify for admission and to attend the Application Day. The representative is allowing 15 minutes of meeting time per student, so please be prepared with all the necessary documentation. More information is available in the Counseling Office.
HULLABALOO: The Hullabaloo Talent Show is coming, and you won't want to miss it! This entertaining show is not only an opportunity to support your performing friends, but also to support our sister school in Sierra Leone. Proceeds from both shows will go to the teaching staff there. Show times are 3:00 and 7:00 on Friday, November 18th! Tickets are $5. So come one, come all, to the HHS Hullabaloo Talent Show!
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: Attention current Senior NHS members: We will have a brief meeting immediately after school on Tuesday, November 15, in the 3rd Floor Lecture Hall, so that we can take our yearbook photo! Please be on time!
GERMAN CLUB will be going to Karl’s German Deli on Thursday, November 10, after school. Everyone is invited to attend! Please pick up a permission slip in room 307 so you can be included. Great food, great people! See you then.
CROSS COUNTRY REMINDER: The Banquet is this Wednesday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the student center. Athletes must dress up and bring their food items to the student center by 6:45 p.m.
FALL ATHLETES: Fall athletes are reminded to clean out their athletic lockers as soon as their season is over. Items left in the lockers will be sent to Good Will.
WRESTLING: There will be a wrestling team meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2:25 pm in the second floor lecture hall. We are looking for wrestlers of all sizes, shapes and experience. If you are interested and cannot attend see Coach Barron or Coach Wesswick in Social Studies.
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN GIRLS BASKETBALL? This week we have open gym, Tuesday-Thursday 2:30 - 3:45 p.m. Camp starts today. Please see Mr. McClurg in Social Studies, for the month times and try on team shoes.
SWIM WAIVER TEST AT ARAPAHOE HIGH SCHOOL: Arapahoe High School will be offering the Swim Waiver Test on Thursday, November 10th and Friday, November 11th at 6:00 a.m. in the Arapahoe High School Pool. The swim waiver test is identical at all three high schools and is found on the Heritage website under “Academics” and then “Physical Education.” Students must sign-up for the test. You cannot take the test if you have not pre-registered. The swim waiver test is open to all currently enrolled LPS students. SWIM TEST AT LITTLETON HIGH SCHOOL: Wednesday, November 9 or Thursday, November 10, 2:30 pm sharp (dressed to swim!) You must attend the session you register for! Sign-up beginning Monday, October 31 in the Littleton High School Counseling Office. Non-LHS students must provide the name of their home high school, grade level and counselor’s name. Phone registrations at 303-347-7710 between 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, regular school days. No phone messages accepted. The swim waiver test is identical at all three high schools and can be found on the Heritage website under “Academics” and then “Physical Education.” Limited to the first 30 students per session. MUST bring photo ID to test.
